I
was just trying to talk to my parents. It was a terrible
connection:
annoying static, a strong echo, and long delays. Under such
conditions, it is impossible to communicate. In the bubble,
in which
the mainstream media and the democratic elite refuse to leave, similar
adverse conditions exist. Static from their continuous pompous
monologues, echoes from their supposed glory days, and long delays due
to their lack of ideas and hence need for filibustering keep them in
noncommunicative mode. They see and hear nothing other than what
they want to see and hear. Hence they are out of touch.
Otherwise how could John Kerry possibly say:
"You
know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do
your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If
you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
and
not realize that a majority of Americans would be offended by his
comment on behalf of all the brave men and women in the military.
Thanks to the bad connection I think the Republicans will retain the House and the Senate.
